The rainbow lorikeet is a colourful parrot native to eastern and northern Australia. Its vibrant mix of green, blue, yellow, and red feathers is a striking sight in both forests and urban areas. These birds feed on nectar using their brush-tipped tongues and eat fruit, seeds, and insects. Highly social and noisy, rainbow lorikeets are often seen in large flocks.
